Posters4Peace: Show Your Peace!
INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL FOR POSTERS
What does peace look like to you?
Posters4Peace is an ongoing international project by Peace Museums, collecting and showcasing posters that explore positive peace—not simply the absence of war, but the presence of justice, equality, human rights, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, dialogue, community, and the conditions that allow people to live and thrive together.
We invite artists, graphic designers, illustrators, students, and creative thinkers from around the world to create a poster that expresses your personal vision of positive peace.
SHOW PEACE — NOT WAR
Peace is often represented through the visual language of conflict: weapons, soldiers, destruction, protest. We want to look beyond this.
Peace can be joyful, personal, everyday, radical, poetic, playful, or unexpected.
A safe home. A shared meal. Family. Friendship. Education. Nature. Freedom. Belonging.
What does peace mean to you?

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The first Posters4Peace exhibition was presented at the Peace Museum Vienna in 2024. The project is now an ongoing, voluntary-based initiative of Peace Museums, building an international collection of posters about positive peace and promoting artists who use their creative practice to contribute to a culture of peace.
Selected posters may be presented in online and physical exhibitions, publications, educational activities, and other Peace Museums projects. Artists will be credited when their work is presented.
